2023 was a busy year for the Eolien en Mer SIG: several studies completed, three Master 2 internships, revision of the environmental monitoring baseline reports for the Dieppe Le Tréport wind farm, and participation in conferences.

The following reports and conference presentations have been published in the “Resources” section:

• Contribution of molecular approaches to the study of seal diet in food remains (faeces): state of the art and presentation of the protocol (interim study report)
• Monitoring seal diet: use of metabarcoding to complement the analysis of hard parts found in faeces (final study report)
• Interest in integrating environmental DNA analysis tools into the existing protocol to complete the monitoring of zooplankton communities (final study report)
• Trophic ecology of marine mammals and birds in the eastern Channel prior to the construction of a wind farm (Master 2 report)
• Dune morphodynamics, sediment flows and their relationships with benthic communities at the site of the future Dieppe-Le Tréport wind farm (Master 2 report)
• Study of the suprabenthic compartment of two sedimentary habitats at the future Dieppe-Le Tréport wind farm (Master 2 report)
• Contributing to scientific knowledge as part of an industrial project: the Eolien en Mer SIG (presentation at the Coast Caen 2023 conference)
• An ecosystem approach to studying the impact of offshore wind farms: the Dieppe-Le Tréport case study (presentation at the Coast Caen 2023 conference)
