Workshops on futures studies of the GIS Eolien en Mer

On Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 January, scientists from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, England, Spain and France gathered in Paris to discuss future studies of the GIS Eolien en Mer.

The four workshops focused on:

After presentations on how the GIS operates and the on going studies, these experts of the impact of offshore wind farms on the ecosystem and marine biological compartments made recommendations for improving the studies and identified topics of interest for new projects.

The members of the Scientific Council will now work on defining these topics in detail, which will be the subject of calls for scientific projects in 2026.
