Launch of study of bat transits at sea

The Eolien en Mer SIG is launching the first study of bat transits at sea prior to the construction of an offshore wind farm.

Following acoustic detections during the initial impact study for the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm, it was decided to carry out a study of transits at sea using acoustic recordings at sea and on land.

The recordings began in 2023 and will enable the data to be analysed locally, as well as on a large scale with the integration of the data into the Migratlane project.
